Mindfulness Training

Mindfulness Training

An opportunity to cultivate your meditation practice on a deeper level with personalized one on one guidance.

If you are sincere in your meditation practice and feel like you could benefit from support, Mindfulness Training can be an incredibly helpful tool.

Being able to sit with a teacher one on one with regularity evolved my practice exponentially. I was able to make progress much more quickly and efficiently. Before doing so I spent a lot of time struggling with confusion and time wasted ‘spinning my wheels’ on the meditation cushion. Individual guidance with a competent meditation teacher was a boon to my practice that I wish I had in my early years of practice.

Over the past two decades, I’ve honed a particular way of working in a real-time interactive meditation with clients that deepens their practice in a way that is organic to them. What does that mean? Everyone meditates differently. In Mindfulness Training we gain insight into how you are with the practice , and how you can develop according to your strengths and challenges. Not everyone is ‘wired’ the same way.

What it looks like:

Sessions run for approximately 50 minutes. This includes:

  • Check-in on practice, what has been occurring thus far that you experience on/off the cushion.
  • Real-time 1:1 interactive Meditation Facilitation where we work on challenges, opportunities, or interest in a meditation practice.
  • Post Practice processing of what took place in meditation and discussing homework for you to work on between sessions.
  • Sessions run approximately 50 minutes over Zoom or FaceTime.
  • ideal to meet weekly or every other week
  • Pay per session or for a block of sessions per month.

Benefits: No one meditates alone in a vacuum. Our whole life shows up in our practice. You can learn to recognize patterns of discontent and elevate awareness around them on more refined levels to cultivate interventions / preventative measures to subdue/retrain the mind away from dukkha and toward increased well being.

Greatly increases progression on the Path with less ‘groping around in the dark’. Having real-time guidance and implementation of techniques to work with whatever arises in meditation. Results in a practice tailored to where you are on your path. Opportunity to delve deeper into Buddhist psychology, ethics, implementation of Dharma in daily life.

Booking a Session
